DLC dailies should offer RADIANT MATERIALS

Burn me a the stake for a heretic but I think all mats should be a damn sight harder to get, too late now of course but the whole levelling system in Destiny was way too easy which means everyone hurdled to the end quicker than Bungie expected. Be honest the game was much more interesting when the struggle was real and gear was interesting, remember your first legendary piece? Bungie needed to make weapons and gear more diverse with customisable options paid for with rare upgrade mats, not relying on common 'everyone can hit max in 3 days type thinking'

If so, it should one be one radiant material given how often DLC dailies show up, plus you still get the other rewards. I would definitely agree with replacing ascendant material with radiant material on the Omnigul weekly strikes though.

2 RepliesIt's an easy enough fix. You do Ascendent Materials with the main game story Dailies. You do Radiant Materials with the DLC story Dailies. The DLC ones come up enough that you should get alot of both all week. Also, they need to add the first Eris mission to the Daily Lineup, with maybe Heroic/Lightswitch (Due to all the thralls and the Melee boss).

I think they need to get rid of radiant materials all together. Should have just kept using ascendant materials. If anything they should use radiant materials to upgrade old raid armour. Example being it costs 10 radiant shards to upgrade your VOG helmet to higher light level.

They definitely need to incorporate Radiant Materials into the rest of the game more. Back when people were leveling VOG armor, there were plenty of ways to get the ascended materials needed to get to 30 but with CE gear you are stuck in the weekly loop.

Massive bump I also feel that it will happen eventually but given the large number of Christmas noobs bungie are waiting till less need ascendant materials than radiant ones

10 RepliesI agree completely with the exception that it should still reward Ascendant Materials for the gamers who did not purchase the DLC expansions. The dailies should definitely reward Radiant Materials or Whatever Materials will be required when HoW is released.

Bump. I dont even do the daily anymore. Havnt needed acendent materials for a long time so there's little to no point for me to do it. Maybe change the loot table to recognize if someone is at 30-32 and drop radiant materials for them? I dont even know of that would be possible thou

I disagree. Instead, I feel like there should be a conversion that could be done in order to exchange a number of ascendant mats for radiant (perhaps a 3:1 or something). Xur could do this or even one of the other vendors.
