Real world time? Or played time? The answer is in hours... But for many those hours may span over a number of days. My Titan was 32 when he only had 23 hours played... And he's the only titan I've ever had.

Then it was just a question of giving him all the shards. Conversely, my warlock just got raid boots this week and there are no exotics for locks. So I'm on polar opposites for loot table luck. How'd I get into Crota? I stored my engrams in my vault for a few days. So when I hit 20, I unloaded a ton of blues and 2 purples onto the cryptarch. I had bought the armamentarium when that was sold and threw that in there too. So I was 29 at the end of that unloading. Then of course, nobody but a hunter does anything in the Abyss. You've never needed to get everyone across the bridge, even without cheese. Deathsinger used to be easier (not that she's hard now with her song starting immediately). And Crota was a joke on normal. Easy peasy. Now is the best time to start new characters, simply because of that.
