Why using tracking weapons is cheap
It basically screams that you're either incredibly bad at aiming, or you're too lazy to put effort into actually not sucking.
Let's face it, you all beg and plead for a ghorn because you don't want to take the effort into actually landing a skillful shot. You might as well just mash the trigger and let the wolf packs do your dirty work.
Things I know you will probably say:
'Baby is crying because he doesn't have a ghorn'
Well there is a reason I don't.
'OP is a fgt'
The more open I keep my options, the more action I get.
'I do have skill blah blah blah I just use the ghorn cause I want to yadda yadda yadda'
Cool, then prove you have basic skill in aiming

Another muted skid mark in the underpants of this community. You're really going to bitch about tracking rocket launchers? Really? That's about as ignorant as being mad people use auto over semi-auto, or pulse over auto. You're just upset you don't have a useful rocket launcher to help with Crota.

Or it says you know shooting a unguided rocket at a target at a long distance is usually a waste of a rocket therefore use the lock on to help hit a target that can move in any direction they choose after you fire a rocket. I also notice you only mention the Jelly horn yet NONe of the other tracking rocket launchers? TL;DR OP is mad he has no jellyhorn.

6 RepliesHow does hitting a target with a rocket without tracking make you good at aiming or bad if you miss? Tracking is about shooting from distance. Most targets you are firing at are from range. If you aim at a target at range and hit him it's because the target didn't move. If you lock on him and miss because he moved that's something that you can't help. You can't predict where an enemy will move from range. Tracking eliminates the uncertainty. There is no skill in hitting targets without tracking, just luck that it didn't move

If a rocket has high velocity I don't have a problem. But if its velocity is slow, I'd prefer tracking.

The only problem is once you get the seeking abilty every time you pull up the sights it tracks no option. Not that hip firing isn't skillfull just not ideal.
