It's not about that it's about making raids obsolete. They are trying to correct that and making vendor gear for level 32 when HoW would make Crota raid obsolete and VOG more so. But yeah time will tell. I'm all for making raids stepping stones or at the very least they can change engrams to the current mid level cap and just reduce the drop rate. I'm totally against people buying there way when others out in the work to get where they are. Hey look I'm 32 now and didn't even go through any raid just ran a bunch of strikes and and bam. No way to treat the majority of your player base by just saying hey you paid for the DLC but the ones who didn't will still be where you are.
