Zur upgrade issue
Ok so today I bought the Ice Breaker upgrade from Zur and it didnt do anything accept reset all the upgrades on the gun! What do I do? Or is there something im missing!

This section of xur's inventory is for upgrading exotics with pre-DLC stats (300 Damage 30 Light) to ones with the current upgraded stats(331 damage 36 light). Next time you should check before upgrading. http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12457

I had the same thing happen only worse - I had lots of money and two exotic shards so I upgraded twice and all it did was wipe away the upgrade I had already achieved - what do I do?

Seems that the key is also having the item to be upgraded in your equipped slot. I just had an old Icebreaker in my inventory and a new one equipped, I assumed it would automatically choose the old one to upgrade but it just reset my new one. Great huh!

The tier of items down there is for upgrading pre-DLC items.

It resets the gun and upgrades it's ATTACK from max 300 to max 331 But if it already had max 331 ATTACK then you wasted materials and it won't be refunded
