I mean I guess and I wasn't there to know but I don't see why anyone would lower their rank in the hardest thing in the game.

They probably did it last min before they killed crota. But who knows, and maybe they did it so that they would show that 1-2 lvl 31s isn't as bad to carry for those people who call themselves "elitist" and only want lvl 32s. However, I understand that all 32s will make it easier
