I just cleared out the entire thrall runway between the bridge and the second chest in CE using three Nova's back to back. My entire clan went and bought obsidian mind after that. Even the dude who only has a hunter and Titan bought the helmet.
(8-10 thrall = instant super use again)

It's 10% cool down per enemy killed. So 10 enemies= another Nova. Had obsidian mind first day dlc dropped from an engram. I wished for all warlocks to have my power, then xur sold it.
