Thanks for the ADVICE! Goodbye to my Young Girlfriend!!
So, I am back.. As you may have read about my situation already about having to make a decision between Gaming and my Girlfriend... To refresh your memory or if you may not know yet, I had to make a decision to either be with my girlfriend or stop grinding Destiny (Full story here http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/93198637/0/0)
Today I decided to let her leave my house as I couldn't take drama any more, she asks me to cut back time on Destiny which I feel I'll be losing out... I work full time and use all my time to play because just like everybody else I want Icebreakers, MIDA Tools and Fatebringers!
So to me it seemed selfish of her to ask me to stop playing so much to spend time with her.... As I work hard at work everyday and bring home money, rent and putting food on the table she should show a little more respect and gratitude towards me. It seems as if she takes me for granted and wants more and more from me. So I've decided to let her go because no way in hell would I give up my gaming for her.. Ungrateful woman I must say but anyway I do want to thank you people for all the advice on my other thread! It really helped.
Good riddance to her.

Do you just expect her to sit around waiting for you? There is always another guy out there to tell her what a jerk you, are and take her from you. Unless there's other stuff you didn't mention, you are 100% in the wrong on this one fellow guardian.

2 RepliesIt's perfectly reasonable to split time between Destiny and her. All you really need to do are bounties and dailies. Which can take an hour or two at most. Then spend time with her. You can do the raids and nightfalls on weekends. Sounds like there's more issues going on than just the game for you to easily let her go. Good luck brother.

Never go full retard? Be careful.....woman are great for preventing men from becoming complete neanderthals. Sometimes my wifes leaves for work for 3 - 4 days. Rather quickly I devolve to peeing in bottles, takeout everywhere and walking around in yesterdays clothes. Pretty soon you will be so disgusting no one would choose to be with you.

I'm almost definitely getting hate for this, but wthn. You made a good choice. I get some people are upset you chose games over your gf, but understand: it was a good thing. I mean, you get home from what I assume is a long and hard work day, video games is the perfect stress reliever (or giver, if VOG hard mode :) ). If she can't appreciate or understand that, then good riddance.
