Break Up and Keep Playing or ... NEED ADVICE
So my girlfriend gets pissed when I come home from work and play until I gotta go to work the next morning... So I don't sleep anymore at all, I really don't wanna miss out on any Loot, so I spend all my hours spare grinding Phogoth strike over and over... But I need advice she seems pretty pissed lately and acting as if I must choose between her and work or Destiny! It's pretty selfish of her IMO. I don't know if to break up with my girlfriend or give up playing for a few months....
Please reply with some advice fellow Guardians!

Honestly it sounds more like an issue with you than anything. How are you functioning without sleep? Is your personal life besides your girlfriend suffering? I'd be annoyed if you were just a friend who did this. As much as I hate to say it gaming to that level is unhealthy. Sure we all do the occasional 24 hour binges (did a 48 once, that was good weekend) but daily?

Think about it like this, destiny won't be around for forever, you will get sick of it, and bored of playing it. But this girl you can really start a life with. You can marry her and start a family with her. Honestly, I think it's ridiculous that you have to actually ask others for advice on the easiest answer. I really don't know what she sees in you. She shouldn't be with someone who actually considers picking a game over a girl. Quite pathetic.

Take a break. The real world is always more important than a video game. Plus destiny is better after a break from it anyway. When CoD AW came out I played that for a couple weeks and I came back to destiny and it felt so refreshing. I love the game now even if the grind isn't rewarding

Couple things here, feel free to disagree on any of it....... If you ain't spending any time with your girl, it's over unless you shape up and treat her right. If your going to a game forum for an "ask Abby" corner, things are probably further gone than you think already. If your literally spending all your free time on the game, ya might want to take ask step back, if not for your girl for your own damn health. Also, if it's real, a girl would never make you give up a hobby (as long as it's not taking all your free time)
