*Humanity tries to flee from Earth, starting a mass exodus towards the edge of our solar system, what would now become The Reef.
Correct me if im wrong but isnt the Reef located in the Asteroid belt? I thought that was said somewhere in game but i cant recall either way good read. Also you should note somewhere that there are several Awoken that returned to earth to help with the creation of the city centuries ago which is why there are earthborn Awoken who dont know about the Reef and the Queen (Like your character if you choose to be an awoken).

It's not so much an asteroid belt as its a ship wreckage/graveyard. The earthbound Awoken are a pretty interesting issue, on the one hand, it's impossible from the perspective of the story that they didn't come from the reef, which is seemingly a dubious task considering how the reef was made from broken apart ships. Another issue, is that most Awoken consider themselves to be neither affiliated with the light or dark, yet it's clearly stated multiple times that your Guardian is "Forged in Light" from the moment of its creation, technically making earthly Awoken, not Awoken. Either way, there was too much confusion and not enough information on the subject to find a spot in the timeline for this to have occurred.

Well is it that Awoken [b]prefers[/b] not to be affiliated with the two or just [b]cant[/b] be. I think it's more they chose to neutral rather then it's their transformation that stops them. This makes it plausible that the Awoken can still be forged in light, and if our guardians are Earth Awoken, which they lost likely are, it's plausible that our character wouldn't know what they are or at least have some amnesia. To fit this story in amnesia , I think that-our character doesn't spend much time in the tower but space.
