I hope that's where some of the hard mode weapons come from that way half these people are screwed

I hope so too, and I don't think it will "screw" as many people as you think. It's a simple fihht, just pointless to do right now if you can skip it.

agreed. upvotes all around! proud to say i never cheesed atheon and haven't skipped/cheesed anything in Crota's end despite 3 or 4 full clears. got good loot to show for it, too :)
