I agree it is easy. The longest part is killing the mobs afterwards, which takes so long. For what ever reason, Bungie thought it would be a good idea to have them keep spawning.

Once you kill the death singer if the whole fire team gathers around the crystal ll bad guys despawn and it starts the crota encounter
