No just 48 hours. So keep getting those engrams if you don't have the strange coins or motes of light. Eventually you'll have over 100-200+ and xur won't sell anything you want.. Lol

Strange coins and motes of light. You can buy armor pieces, a gun and an exotic engram. Guns are usually minimum of 17 strange coins, armor is like 13 and the engram is 23 motes of light.

just hit level 22 i have 1 coin and 5 motes

Just do the mission strikes playlist over and over and collect as many blue engrams as you can, you'll get motes and coins from them. Also try and get your level up as quick as possible and do the weekly for some coins. I'd even help you if you need.
