Halo started it all, Halo is Bungie's baby. I hear people saying Halo is better than Destiny on here all the time, and everywhere people say this.

Actually, I'd say Marathon started it all or Myth or pathways out of darkness. Those games created their success. I like them all.

Same I have my old copys of halo and mcc I don't play online to often so the issues that plagued the multiplayer didn't bother me at all campaign is just how I remember it

Yes, they pretty much fixed Multiplayer, not 100% but I would say about 85 to 90% fixed.

When destiny launched I wasn't even able to log in at all and after a week+ I got hit by the noahs ark effect of error codes

Bungie now is mostly new guys. 343 Industries is basically, "Old Bungie".

I don't think you can say what's better. I mean I played alot of Bungie games and I have different experiences with them. If you think Halo is better it's your opinion and it's cool.
