YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

So far for nightfall this week, 8 ascendant shards for one character, 10 ascendant energies for another, have one more go at it

Beaten crota over 30 times on normal and no black hammer about to reset my character again to go for another time this week for the 5 times just this week and on top of that over 1000 hours and no Gjallarhorn

1 ReplyI was playing rumble with a few friends, against a guy with a mythoclast pre-buff. I kept up with him most of the game and he pulled ahead at the end. the clock started ticking down and I was like "shit I just wanna beat this asshole." he was a kill from winning 10 seconds left, and I needed three. used my Nova bomb got a triple kill and won the game! the whole party was cheering and shouting. then the drop happened. he got a -blam!-ing last word right as I was screaming with joy. like a kick in the balls :c

Ran the nexus mind strike with a buddy and a random. Random player drops minutes into the fray and we two manned the rest of the strike. I got a mote of light. My buddy got his third monte Carlo in 3 days and a legendary engram...

Carried a level 28 thru vault of glass on hard and he was dead more than 2/3 of the time since he's never even done the raid before. After beating atheon I got a stupid ass legendary ship and what's the level 28 get? The vex mythoclast. good for him but still messed up
