YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Most legendary drops from nf are just bad. Unless you're lucky and get good perk rolls on a weapon or armor you need, you're essentially getting the same reward as the daily heroic story

Couple weeks ago I soloed the Nightfall and then two of my friends logged into Destiny and I was telling them I soloed the Nightfall. I got a legendary auto rifle that I dismantled and I said I would run it again to help them out. So, we're going through the Nightfall having fun constantly reviving one friend who insists on rushing the enemy and we finally reach the boss. We do our thing running around, shooting, and reviving that one friend and complete the Nightfall. The reward screen comes up and I'm telling my friends hopefully they get something good. Now, I already did the Nightfall I know I won't get anything but, I see that my friends both exotics! One friend got the Hawkmoon and the other friend got Thunderlord! Needless to say, there were a lot swear words flying about like Alfred Hitcock's Birds.

No drops on the hard mode death singer at all. Only one alive, I kill everything, and everyone but me gets something and it's the 2nd time in 2 weeks it happens. When it's the first time I run the raid that week. #-blam!-edup #deathsinger #destiny #bungie #givememyshit

Done crota 10 times now, and here's what I've got: 2 gauntlets 1 chest piece 2 hunger of crota ~55 radiants Atheon I've taken down close to 60 times and all I had gotten from VoG (haven't run in 1 month) 5 boots 6 gloves 1 Praedyth 1 Epilogue 2 vision of confluence ~275 ascendants Couldn't forget about a nightfall a few weeks ago, got 5 strange coins, and recently Starfire protocol, pissed me off, as its Xûrs new replacement for voidfang vestments

I was doing the Rockets Mcdickface Nightfall with another friend. At the last minute one of my buddies joins he was only a level 27 at the time dies getting into the end room. Finished with 0 kills and got a Gjallerhorn. I got shards and the other guy got a useless weapon. #ImNotBitter

This week was really bad. First time i ran both character through NF. Got SEVEN energy on one, on the other i got a terrible shotgun with arc damage. If it had void i'd keep it for thorn bounty. So basically, what, total of 9 energies between 2 characters? That's fn BAD bro, that's really bad
