ATTN: Do Not buy "The Devil You Don't" Hand Cannon!
Please be smarter than me and spend your money on something else because I cant hit anything with this pos.
My favorite weapon in the game for PVP is TLW. Based on TDYDs stats (high rate of fire/stability) I thought it could be a decent backup for when I wanted an exotic special or heavy. However, it seems like this is one of the most inaccurate guns of any class I have used, its literally losing gun fights for me. I didn't realize the Clown Cartridge perk only grants ONE extra bullet IF it procs, and at a base mag of 5 rounds, this isn't a significant difference.
I feel terrible when I think about other people spending their marks/commendations on this gun so do me a favor and don't.

1 ReplyWish I had read this before hand. I was skeptical about buying it cause I was about to rank up in the vangaurd and get a package and thought maybe I'd get it. But I bought it anyway... and my package ended up giving me a second one which was actually worse than the one that the vanguard sells.

1 ReplyGuys, when you get field scout, the mag shoots up to 13. Also, the accuracy issue can be fixed by using the sureshot is sight.

please listen to the OP it is utter trash..... mine was the xmas gift from cryptarch i had hopes but hardly ever used it so many better alternatives.. dismantled it last night.

yeah, low impact (20 less compared to its older brother TDYK) and only 5 rounds, too bad if i were to buy a handcannon now i would definitely go for the TFWPKY 1969 from Crucible, eventually for the Chance from FWC

The Devil you don´t. One of the best hand cannons in the game, just upgrade it holds 12 rounds plus the extra bonus round 300

its a shame to because i really like is cosmetics but a larger magazine of ma-by 12 -13 would put it in good place (bungie please buff)

I like the vendor one, because of its small magazine. It gets to its bonus damage bullet faster and I actually use that bullet more often than thorn for instance, because I reload so much with other guns. I just have to make sure and hit with every bullet out of The Devil you Don't :(

I bought it without looking. Then seen it holds 5 rounds i was pissed. Luckily enough i got the drop version with field scout (13 rounds) and outlaw its a beast.

I didn't even like the one i got with field scout. Doesn't hit hard enough to fire slowly. Isn't accurate enough to fire at its fastest rof. Dismantled

If you roll one with Field Scout though, its a very solid primary. The store version? Pants. Avoid.

If your used to TLW it kinds of screws you for other hand cannons as the sights for headshot are different than most hand cannons. I was the opposite, I was so used to Fatebringer that when I got TLW I count hit crap with it for awhile. But yes, 6 rounds is horrible. I have the FWC hand cannon The Chance with field scout and that thing is beast accurate and has 13 rounds.

Never will buy anything that has only 5 rounds. Wtf can you kill with give rounds? Even body shots for guardians take up to 4 rounds

3 RepliesTdyd has 13 shot 16 with clown active and immense range and accuracy. Its living up to tdyk and better. Its not a pvp weapon unless its your only HC. And if it is pop it down to the lower clip size and use slugs. Hits harder and headshots could stagger an ogre.
