Ok community what was that one game that sold you to the gaming life!? What is that one game that when you think back it bring about the good old days memory :)!

Super Mario Bros was the first game I played.

It was a combination of games really. I got my first pc as the aliens vs predator fps came out and my friend got Quake 3 and Unreal tournament. They were my first online games I played and still think they are hard to beat, especially avp and a bit later avp gold edition. Three different species with completely different skill sets meant that species wars or death matches were pretty insane and intense fun!

Console gaming, it was the original Legend of Zelda. Got it for Christmas, and a buddy and I stayed up 2 days straight beating it twice...cause when we figured out that the dungeons were completely different the second time around, there was no way we could not beat it again. But gaming in general...it's not one game, it's the old arcades; smoky, cigarette burns, rock playing on the loud speakers, putting your quarter/token on the bottom of the screen to signify "I'm next", befriending the owner/manager so he'd defend you against the older, bigger teenagers...

As far as in depth gaming goes it was for sure metal gear solid. I was like 11 and would write down all the frequencies I need to communicate with allies and enemies, beat the game on all levels it was amazing

Maplestory.....grinding my life when i was like 9? Haha i was a beast even fought zakum before the big bang update.....i still go to the website from time to time to see whats up.Haha
