Yea I just figured that out but that's horrible. You can earn marks way quicker playing pvp. One match you get 5 marks in less then half the time it would take to get 50 materials. They probably got rid of that cause hardly anyone used it.

No problem. It was actually faster, while in a Crucible match you were stuck doing nothing else. Picking up mats was just something you did while you were busy doing other things, I usually have a few hundred extra mats. Now I'll have truckloads.
