So THORN and VEX are now the ultimate exotics
So after the update came out I immediately took off to clash to test out both weapons THORN: faster reload, nine bullets, faster handling, 2 shots plus Mark Of D to kill. VEX MYTHO: Returned to old glory, It singes people like bee-outch, lower mag size not a big deal!. So lets discuss, are these two the best now or is there still something better?.

1 ReplyHonestly don't know what all the fuss about thorn in crucible is. Maybe its because i haven't fully upgraded it, but i find the last word to be my go to handcannon in pvp

I think the lord high fixer is still better than my thorn... More rounds. Hits harder, reloads faster.

1 ReplyIm just glad bungie decided to ignore the whiney 6yo babies and listen to the majority of its community. Nerf should be a last resort. Exotics are supposed to be a bit op as long as they are not gamebreaking.

So yeah the damage for these weapons should reflect the challenge it takes to get them. My only problem is some of the wahh wahh cry babies if the Devs listen to them will ruin this game balance,the DAMN exotic weapons are supposed to be powerful. But people are LATE on the Thorn bandwagon before the update it was a strong hand cannon pop two shots to the head done...but what hand cannon isnt strong.

11 RepliesI never used Thorn in pvp until today. It is one hell of a beast now. Now I have even a harder time to chose which gun I use. And the Vex is fun to use as well. This is a fun patch for pvp players. All I will say is get your hands on Thorn and you will never look back.

I suppose we'll be seeing a lot more thorns in crucible again. Haven't seen any in a while. Vex is annoying but most of the time I can go toe to toe with it with my Bad JuJu of all things especially now with the extra ammo. That might be because the Vex is so powerful that everyone and their mother uses it no matter if they can aim it or not.

Vex is the same, as its only significant buff was in pve. The base damage was not specified, and is most likely minuscule. Suros still outguns pretty much anything honestly.
