I did what I did very intentionally, and with good reason, I think.
The reasons I did not include ideas is twofold: they are less easy to agree with and, generally, game devs don't care.
For the latter, they can say they listen to singular good ideas all they want, but unless they read an idea that they just really like, they give 0 s***s. That a game dev actually listens is a rare occurrence, despite anything they say to the contrary. Of course, this is not the devs' fault, it is because they may only pursue what is lucrative.
For the former, think about how many different ideas people have. Then think about how many people desire some form of change. Then think about how often game devs listen.
You see, if a great many people desire change, then the game devs will desire to make change, and that means that if they desire change, they will be looking to either think up that change or find someone with an idea. This makes people more receptive to ambient ideas, especially if multiple people are saying the same thing.
In essence, I am attempting to affect a change not by offering my own ideas, but by creating a situation where the devs can be shown that a large number of people desire change.
In the end, it comes down to Bungie understanding that we want these changes so badly that they desire to put resources into creating this change, because no matter how good an idea is, it will be ignored unless it is seen as lucrative.
And you are right, it is a disservice, but I must keep what I include down to a minimum. I made two easily agreeable points. That's all. And look at the response.
The numbers don't lie.

The problem with leaving the changes up to the imagination of the devs is that you often won't like the changes they make. You're right, though. This thread had grown. Unfortunately that means DeeJ had probably read it, and come away with very little of use because it's just one big complaint. Further, most of the responses were also not helpful. So what you have is a big thread of complaints with few ideas on what the community would like to see implemented. Regardless of what you think, based on the changes they have already made, they are (at least on some level) listening.
