When I go to the left of the tower(area where the speaker is) the green icon appears as if i have a message/bounty to turn in/engram. But when I go back, there's nothing. This happens when i go to the hanger too.
Some sort of glitch? Anyone else?

Adding to the list - same thing to me as well. Guessing glitch or part of DLC that was accidentally released.

I think it's just showing the route back too the main courtyard. It shows up for me when I goo to either tower.

Lol, I chased that green icon for ten minutes yesterday. Figured it must be a glitch, because I never found anything. Probably Bungie trolling

I just started seeing this but I think it is to show where a fire team mate is at in the tower. Can't remember seeing it solo.

I think it's a glitch with the iron banner vendor.

My honest guess is that because they laid the groundwork for the new content and there is supposed to be a new person in the tower when that drops the game is expecting there to be a new quest/mission/whatever for you to pick up there but the giver of it does not exist yet. Not necessarily a bug but more of an oversight on bungies part.

It probably is one of their many oversights. Are you only seeing it when away from the center portion of the tower?

Yes, and like others I initially thought it was showing party member locations or something but then it did it when it was just me in the group. I ran around looking and talking to everyone to see if the icon in the area was just missing over the persons head or something, but nope.

Well that Eris something girl is supposed to be coming, so I'm betting the icon is tied to her.

pretty much as i see it bungie thinks that the tower is SO BIG and SO GRAND so they made a reminder icon to keep us from getting lost because the tower is so -blam!-ing "huge"
