25k glimmer takes about 2 hours to farm.. They would have to raise the cap to 50k and charge that for it to be even remotely ok and that's still pushing it

Agreed. Either increasing the cap, or weakening the value of glimmer (through reducing drop rates/rewards) will effectively cause the same thing. Feel that it would be a logical progression to see all vendors get some sort of extended value. Right now, the roles that they play is really minimal.
