You would be maxed out & bored the same day.i struggled for weeks to get my raid gear!you all should

No, we all don't have to. Me, I am a solo gamer, I go to the crucible on my own, I do the story by myself, I do the weekly strikes on the hardest difficulty on my own, I do the nightfall missions as well. It is a struggle, so why should I not get lvl 30 equipment too? Why must I be forced to play with others to get such gear, even though the next Iron Banner will be offering 2 pieces of gear that offers 30 light for the full upgrade equipment that will not even get me to level 30? I would rather by the equipment from the vanguard or the other vendors just make the required ranking higher to buy them.

The problem is the way you want to obtain them would be too easy.others who play all day would be 30 too fast.that being said I completely understand why you feel that way.but don't feel too special.i solo weekly nightfalls for 3 characters every week ;)
