Or maybe PvP based on 1 type of weapon. One playlist for each gun type?

Just primary weapons would be good any primary weapons but not any other types Too many playlist just won't work

No that would split matchmaking up too much it would be nearly impossible to find a game on either of the game types and would make it much harder to find a game on core game types such as control

Yeah that true. Maybe a primary only like you said. And also a random gun type match?
