I think they have a lot to learn about making MMO or RPG. I think they though oh easy anyone can make one of those... and then went ahead and tried it and failed! The more I play the game (and I've played it a lot) the more Im thinking that Bungie simply don't know how to make an MMO. the problems with the limited fire team, loot drops, unbalanced weapons pvp vs pve, the lack of STORY and the list goes on. They should ask Activision to send over a team from WoW and rewrite their algorithm for drops to start off with... that would be a good start. Also they should hire a writer (a real writer with experience) and a director (who know how to make films) to communicate the story.
The thing is destiny has beautiful art but you can't explore it there's the small maps that you play over and over all the players really want is a alittle more space give us a little more playability look at oblivion and skyrim gorgeous art a lot of stuff to keep you busy and a large amount of space
Man I don't disagree.
But the last time Bungie got to flex its creative muscles before Destiny was making the first Halo.
Teams like Bethesda and Rockstar are bigger and have their process nailed down. Destiny can become everything we want it to be. That's the nature. But if Skyrim came out and it wasn't what we thought? That's it. The game is out and can't be changed.
Destiny was released with some strong mechanics and good principles but what Destiny will truly become is up to us because of feedback and Bungie being able to incorporate it.
You know how long it took Infinity Ward to patch the no scope glitch in MW2? Oh right. They didn't.
But Destiny updates itself every week.
