Perhaps because they realized that implementing bumpers is one thing but taking away preferred strategies / roles is another? To me it seemed like the update was more or less ready when they announced it and this is the only reason I can imagine for not pushing it through.

Yea I was about to say, shouldn't the Atheon bumpers gone live Wednesday earlier this week?? I pushed the Templar off yesterday and killed Atheon, but I thought the bumpers were implemented already. Apparently not.
