Most people only buy CoD because of familiarity and because their friends by it
They don't want to have to learn other games mechanics because CoD still fulfills the basic principle of shooting things

Since when do people "have" to learn and play different games? If it's what they like let them play it. You don't need to sit there and try to belittle their choice just cause it's different than yours like some ignorant self-inflating social pariah. Also buying a game because your friends have it is normal. Go get some.

Read what I wrote properly I didn't say they have to learn other game mechanics for my own personal satisfaction. I was talking about their unwillingness to learn how other games work and instead sticking with something familiar It's why CoD is an overhyped trash game series

Rationally, them purchasing cod has no effect on you. Yet you still express disdain towards them so naturally your taking this personally. What the hell are you talking about? Cod has it's mechanics, other games have theirs In order for people to play other games, they HAVE TO learn the mechanics if the they are different.
