How do you know they already got their expenses covered on the 4th day? Sales figures? Do you also know how much Bungie is actually getting per copy? And if that also covers the salaries of everyone involved until right after the DLC has been given out for free like you people want?
If it's not profitable they will pull the plug...

Well at this rate with the returns as high as they are they will likely not receive the funding to move forward. Many people are returning the game after playing it only a few days.

Due to popular demand, a citation to satiate your curiosity. I'm not looking for a fight, just facts. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/destiny-revenue-hits-500-million-in-24hrs/1100-6422231/ You're gonna have to copy and paste it into the search engine.

1) I asked for a citation from starshark about many people returning the game. 2) the article tells us they, Activision, had $500 million in revenue. How much did it cost Bungie to make and how much have they already gotten back in earnings? Activision is gonna take a piece of the pie as well. 3) even if they got all the money back from all the costs they made up to, ehh let's say release date, who is paying the salaries for everything after that? The profit they are hoping to make on the game is gonna go towards developing the DLC and keeping patches going and keeping everything in the air including the whole slew of dedicated servers they must have for this game. The profits from selling the DLC will keep them doing this until the next DLC or sequel is released, etc., etc. If you think they can give it away free and still keep the game alive then I would love to see proof for that...

I get the feeling we're on the same side, but still fighting. We all know that the money is going towards funding future projects, which I think we both stated, just I didn't outright say it. If I'm incorrect, then that's it.

Check the date of the article as well. I think they're reliable, but if there's any contradictory sites, post 'em below I guess.
