Why do you have to wait twelve hours? The edition you got does not matter if you have to drive somewhere or have it delivered that's your problem nothing to do with them

If you read the tweet you would understand, servers will go live at midnight NZST that's roughly 12 hours before my midnight launch (the only way to get my ghost edition) but since the servers will already have been live, everyone who pre-downloaded the game in the US will be able to play up to 12 hours before anyone else in the US...

Additionally people in my time zone will he able to play earlier because the servers will be live, thats my main complaint. I bought the Ghost edition because I am a hardcore Destiny fan, just sucks that people who pick it up cheaper digitally will have a headstart.

Yea, with a game like this (yes I am comparing it to an MMO in this respect) a global simultaneous release would be more appropriate IMO.
