Yeah, it's really random, some Gamestops got great people, like the one in the mall where I live (I actually work there seasonally so I can get all the good discounts during the holidays... employee appreciation weekend, where all used games are 35% off for employees, gotta love it...) But then some Gamestop stores you go into the people there are rude, stupid, and/or overly sales aggressive...
