As an atheist who comes from a highly southern baptist family, I try to treat people the way I want to be treated and not shove my views down other people's throats, if someone wants to have a real non combative conversation about it I'm game. I do on occasion say things I shouldn't in religious threads but I'm trolling. I'm friends with many Christian people but religion isn't my thing.
That being said I have children, much like my own desire to develop my own opinion and be accepted for it and not looked down upon, I will give them the same luxury and not force my views on them. They have been to Sunday school/Awanas (Christian kids club)? more than a few times with my family and enjoy it. It's called being a rational adult.
