I don't have much experience in Destiny clans. I think the answer is no given that it shows the clan name in your in-game nameplate and there is a 75 person limit. You can always create a group and invite a "friend list".
I'm a member of 3 groups, however you can only actively be a member of one clan at a time. So if you want to join multiple clans just be a member of all the groups and then join the "clan" of whoever you're playing with at the time
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
