Trains actually have had a pretty big impact on my life.
Since I live like right next to train tracks, I literally hear the train like everyday, and well, the train horn has made me pretty... uh, i dunno, prone to.. train... sounds... stuff. but seriously yeah, living next to a train for the past like 11 years have done things to my life which don't usually occur in someone who doesn't.. live next to a train...
oh, and history lesson time. Way before I was born, the same train tracks, but on a different street, the train would pass by on a elevated hill, while there some houses sitting below. The train derailed, and smashed into some houses, a few people were killed. After that disaster, the city was all like "no more building houses here" and to this day, it's just all flat and barren... Honestly kinda... unsettling, to me, or somethin' like that. oh and also on that same street was my bus stop, 22 years after the disaster... kinda creepy, again, like i said...
