So, I'm playing Destiny as a Warlock and I noticed that some of my gear had very 'anti-hunter' descriptions. One said something along the lines of Hunters not being able to shoot straight and other said Warlocks will never 'cede their position' to the Hunters. Anyone know why there's bad blood between the two, or if there's tension between all the classes, or did I just pick a class that happens to be really pissy?
EDIT: So there is some tension between each of the classes. The shit talk mainly goes on between the Warlocks and Huntards. The Huntards and Titans also have a few jabs at each other. Titans and Warlocks seem to get along.
Edit 2: Hunters*
Edit 3: Holy shit, nearly 1500 replies now. This post was from the Beta in July and it just picked up a lot more steam.

Whorelocks are jealous of hunters. =)

1 ReplyHuntards? Whatever you say whorelock.
-
8 RepliesBecause Hunters need to know that "floofing around" is not a proper term for gliding!
-
Because we taught them how to blink but they won't admit it.
-
7 RepliesBecause hunters steal stuff from warlocks (like blink) and in the destiny lore hunters are kinda dicks
-
1 ReplyCause hunters are awesome and warlocks are to op and resurrect which ticks people off. (JUST STAT FREAKIN DEAD!) -in pvp

Because, Warlocks try to reach out teach others about the mysteries and powers of the Light and Darkness and Hunters.... just don't care. Based off of what I've seen/know via grimiore, Warlocks try to tell Hunters and Titans about these powers and Titans just fall asleep, while Hunters just care about their looks and look at you in a funny way like you're high. There could be more, but that's just what I think.

It's not the characters that are the problem. It's the idiots who control them

Hunters started the whole master race thing. Just sayin. I play as all 3 and my favorite comes in waves. All characters have certain attributes that are helpful to the team. So I say we just end the war but I know that will never happen
-
Because Hunters have the shit job of patrolling and looking for supplies in the lore, while Warlocks get to study and train with the light. Titans are just like military people so I couldn't see them getting along with the academics very much.
-
4 RepliesBecause hunters still fail to admit they learned blink from the warlock. All would be forgiven if they just thanked them for it.

Edited by tbaglag: 2/19/2015 5:07:48 AMI think it's because if you main warlock and then try hunter the difference in control and combat flow feels drastically different while titans are more similar. and also the Reliance on radiance vs needing a res is a huge difference. I like to think im using dragon install instead of radiance.

Edited by I’m Dunn-4, Exo PDF File: 2/19/2015 5:05:06 AMIt's not a matter of 'who hated who first', it's a matter of the topic being there. If Hunters hated Warlocks first, then so be it, that doesn't hold much weight. If Warlocks hated Hunters first, then so be it, that doesn't hold much weight.

In reality my main is my warlock, warlocks actually. My brothers main is his hunter! We get along and make an outstanding team

2 RepliesWe don't. Stop generalizing. Ugh. Typical hunter.

I love all 3!

3 RepliesBecause one warlock taught a hunter to blink, since that day the hunter has been the master class
