How does the Crucible ranking system work? A lot of the videos I've seen show PvP gear needing Crucible Rank 3, just wondering exactly how to obtain that

Crucible rank is obtained from earning crucible medals, to earn those you complete crucible matches (PvP), depending on wether u win or lose, you will get more or less points, the more points, the faster you will earn your crucible rank. The same concept applies for many other factions and gear.
