Is there ever any IP banning around here anymore? By all means, it seems more and more necessary.

There should be IP muting. That would work better.

2 RepliesYou would need to ban unique numbers that can't be changed. IP addresses aren't that. You can very easily request a new IP from your ISP.

Achronos refuses to do it because he doesn't want to risk accidentally banning an entire university/small town/country in which all users share the same IP. Plus they're really easy to get around.

3 RepliesIt doesn't work, I can change my IP in 15 seconds with some awesome Japanese software called SoftEther (legal as well).
