Honest opinion of ME?
Frodo and Co. marched all the way to Mount Doom (it took months, ouch) making their joureny across of a sizable chunk of the land mass. Middle Earth is a very expansive land and contains all different climates which is typical of fantasy now-er-days. It comes complete with tragic back story and heroism. Much better than Narnia.
I do regret not making time and reading the books, as I am told they are 10x better than the movies.
[spoiler]I just bought the Trilogy box set extended edition in Blu-ray (Damn it Tops).[/spoiler]
