If you get lost, what would you do?
You go on a hike to a mountain and get lost in the middle of nowhere. No friends near you, you have no cellphone reception, and have no clue to where you are.You try to find a way out, but it seems like you're just going in circles so you stop to rest and eat, but you realize you have no water left, and only have 1 can of food left and that means you have to ration well if you want to survive. You have 1 flashlight, two 20 meter long rope, 1 can of food and a tent, and a compass. So if you were in this position, what would you do? And why?

Scoff at the fact that I have Verizon so there is service everywhere. I had service on a plane from Seattle to Japan, it was awesome. (No I didn't use it during the flight.) If you are Deus Ex Machina'ing this then I could just walk down the mountain since the closest one for me is Mt. Fuji. At the base of Mt. Fuji there is a sprawling tourist center where I can get a map.
