Destiny is a rip off.
At least Halo was [i]original[/i]. Destiny is literally just a combination of every single big name game out there right now. It literally Elder scrolls: Halo black ops shadow fall start of the wolfenstein and every game I havnt mentioned.
But in all seriousness, it really is just a mix of everything already out there and that's a huge disappointment.

What I'm taking from this is that any new game that's similar to other games in any way is just some ripoff. That's like saying borderlands was just a combination of Halo, Elder Scrolls and "every other big name game out there," even though both Borderlands were fantastic games. It's hard to make a game today that is original, at least Bungie is trying to give players a new experience with the whole shared world shooter thing. I'm not gonna try and defend Destiny to much because it hasn't came out yet, but you shouldn't hate on it so much for the same reason.

Is it wrong for Bungie to take stuff from a game that they created, sure it might have some similarities to halo but that doesn't mean you have to hate it before it's even released. I have seen a lot of things that make this game different from halo. If you really want a chance to judge destiny then go to E3, Destiny will be it's own game, it won't be like halo I can assure you of that, just from the little information Bungie gives us

It is a Borderlands-esque loot hunting game. It's a Warframe upgrade your armor/weapons and explore our Solar System game. It's a Mass Effect campaign where you change the universe with the decisions you make. It's a Halo-esque multiplayer game where super soldiers with amazing abilities fight each other. It is a good game. All of the previously listed games are great games, and I think a game created with all of these parts will be just as great. Destiny is an original idea created from previously thought of concepts.
