As shadow fills our spaces, and the sun leaves the sky, in amongst the cool air of the night mingles the breath of a sleek, black Squid, hollow as the dark. Over forest, sea, city and town, it stalks on lithe, kilometre long limbs. Its eyes are distant as stars, peering down through the diaphanous crimson fumes that fill its own arcane shell. The Squid in the Dark; a cold, broiling embrace for the lost, weary and soul-broken, come the bright firmaments fade into the face of infinity.
