The fire part was kinda my fault. I left a bottle of opened butane lighter fluid next to the box. The bottle spilled on the box which was hot enough to set fire.

why do you have to call him a retard. Also. omg placing a console on the carpet, wow that was crazy of him. Nintendo consoles, sega consoles, and playstation consoles all work while placed on carpets. No worries of burning to death with those.
