One day, I faced something really horrible... So, I happened to pray, but I didn't pray in the Orthodox, or Catholic or Buddhist way. I simply prayed to the higher being known as God - without a background in faith or interest in religion, I do believe that the spiritual boost I received somehow helped me face the peril and come out unscathed. So... I don't know. Sometimes I ask the same question myself. Is there a god? Or is just faith another tool in a human's arsenal?
