I have an open mind, I was stating why, at the moment, I don't believe in a god. That doesn't mean I mean closed minded. I'm an agnostic atheist not a gnostic atheist. I also said most scientists. Like i said, God was an idea, made by man to explains something they they had no understanding of, at most i would believe in an essentialism god. There isn't any evidence there was a god, so until they have evidence i won't believe. But I will keep an open mind, that's how I became an atheist.

It's not being closed minded. I don't call you closed minded because you don't believe in werewolves. And yes ridiculous beliefs deserved to be ridiculed and it's not closed minded. Atheism is a disbelief in god. I dont believe in god because their isnt any evidence of a god, and the muther-blam!-ing burden of proof is on you to prove god not me to disprove it. and disbelief isn't closed minded.

It only helps to prove my point, the only time people get angry over a debate is when they know their wrong but are so narrow minded that they hate being wrong and can't admit is do they resort to cusing and arguing and name calling instead of calmly providing your reason as to why I am wrong... It is my experience that Atheists are because everyone that I have meet that is has repeatedly said that I am stupid and wrong for even considering that there could possibly ever be a higher power... So it is my belief that if you are open to the possibility then you are not Atheist...
