I got an invite from Bloody Nine (I think), but I passed it off as just another group invite. Time went on, I quickly forgot about it, and then the butthurt started. I remember reading about this mythical place called Sapphire where the mods were 'super oppressive' and the leader made it his own 'secret shrine for his massive e-peen'; a community dedicated to mass circle jerking the older, more popular members, while the newer members sat around and watched in shock and awe. I couldn't escape the discussions. They were so frequent and angry that it seemed to be the only thing anyone posted about for quite some time. Naturely, I became curious. I started lurking the anti-sapphire threads, just waiting to see what kinds of butt-frustration would emerge, hoping that a huge argument would erupt. 9/10 times, it did. Eventually I got a PM from Harlow about joining sapphire. This time, I knew what it was, I had an idea (while completely wrong) about what I would find within, this time I had to join. So I did, and haven't looked back.
