Community ViDoc *New Group Created*
Hey, So I was thinking, like the community does it's own MailSack at times, How about a new project. We should make a community ViDoc to send to Bungie, maybe talking to members of the community and possibly ninjas, Talking about the communities forever ongoing development.
Unfortunately my editing skills aren't the greatest so we'd need a lead editor.
Discuss, good idea? or Push this thread into the abyss?.

Ok, people like this idea, when I get my laptop back I'll make aproper group and we can get this show on the road. II'll probably make a community dropbox or something so we can get hold of each others clips or something. Stay tuned :)

Also, we should have some sort of exclusive content to Bungie members, ethier the Ps or Xbox systems. Whoever is apart of Bungies community will be welcomed.

Good stuff. I'd be willing to throw together something if people send in their clips as DeeJ (or Urk?) already posted the "Bungie Day 2012" Trailer I created last year. I have the tools to do it, we just need more information. It will take more than just a couple people to make these work, but this community has the talent for things like this. 1. What's the point of the ViDoc? 2. What kind of information should members share? 3. What's the message we should send to new members of the Seventh Column? 4. What questions should we ask individual members to submit? So once we have a general idea on what we're looking at, a team must be assembled to start sorting things out; I'd be willing to throw my name in the hat as an editor. Great brainstorming idea OP.

I sent my idea to the OP, but I figured I'd put it up on here so you all could give me your opinion. I was thinking something like the O Brave New World ViDoc, a decently long video about the Community through the years. Talking about the highlights, the dark times, and maybe even the birth of some big groups like Community Carnage. And, although I would like to be able to put all the members in this video, I think we'll have to pick just a few. We could get Forum Ninjas and some of the Grizzled Ancients. It would be awesome if we could get Shishka for it. Then maybe a few of the newer members like Arbitor 5 and Lobster Fish 2. All the way up to the n00bz that are coming now. I think we'll need a few people to help with the creation. A director, an editor, and some interviewers. That way no body is awkwardly speaking to a camera. Finally, we'll need a group to organize all of this and discuss it with the people who really want to do it. Or just use an existing one to host the discussion. Anyway, what do you guys think?

2 RepliesI really like the idea a lot. Like people have said, to keep it simple it would probably be easier to do in Machinima form. For example. I know the video above is a parody, but can be used as an example on how it could look.

awesome idea. Wondering how we could make it work.... What if Instead of us making it for them, what if it was part of a contest, where community members got to give their 2 cents at bungie HQ for a Bungie Vidoc that feautred a community segment. Maybe they did this with the one of seven already?! I would like to see some ninjas and other members though...
