Because Bungie want's to share it's new universe with everyone (minus pc gamers for now). Microsoft Tied them down.

This is one of the most expensive projects ever taken on, and even with Activision's financial backing, Bungie really needs to make this game even bigger than Halo. They need Sony and Microsoft gamers to get on board with Destiny to make it worth their while (financially, at least).

1 ReplyBungie wants to make money, and they don't want to be restricted. This game IS FOR XBOX. But it is also for the Playstation. Because the next Xbox hasn't been revealed, Bungie can't come out and say it is for the next Xbox as well. Be patient. As for why this game isn't JUST for the Xbox. Bungie is free to sell their game to whomever they like. Does that make this game bad in anyway? No. Are you that of an entitled little brat that you ONLY want it for YOUR console of choice? If the answer to that question is 'yes', please go away.
