Destiny 2 Opening a Blank Black Screen on Startup then Crashing

I have checked every help forum I could find, done every piece of advice I saw, and it still does not work. I'm running it on steam. I played D2 for months on this device alone without a problem but now it is acting up. I did mess with some steam files right before this happened which messed up my D2 achievements while the game was open, though in theory that is now reverted. It still wont launch though, opens up a solid black screen, 10 seconds later, it closes, no error code or anything.
