Probably the saddest thing I’ve done it terms of gaming. I didn’t want to do it, but there’s little to nothing left to do that interests me.
Nearly 11 years of my life belonged to Destiny, and I’m happy to say I was a part of it.
I hope it continues in some way, whether it’s a D2 revival, Destiny 3, or a new game entirely, but still set in the Destiny universe.
But it’s ok to let go folks. Things come to an end.

2 RepliesEdited by Northern: 9/12/2026 8:35:27 PMNo biggie dude, the games dying out again, 20k concurrent players on steam on a Saturday. Unless something radical changes soon, Destiny will probably end during 2027. There's tons of good games out there worthy of your time 👍

I will now proceed to not be a [pathetic social archetype]... Do what you need to do the game is not going anywhere for now... Go play have fun... I think people don't realize that just because you don't play as much don't mean you're not a guardian.... See you in your next post... Post...

Deleting a game is not that much of a hassle nowadays, will be downloaded again in a jiffy. Need to make space because you're on console?

Edited by Sen: 9/11/2026 12:42:03 AMMe when FFXIV patch as well as a plethora of friendslop games I have downloaded (I will only play them two times and then never again)

5 RepliesI've left for good a few times and deleted it. Over a year each time. The last time I was without a doubt never coming back, but I reinstalled again when this update dropped.

2 RepliesI'm still keeping mine for now. I guess I'm lucky to have two Xboxes. But yeah, I recently checked other games on sale to see if I wanted more Backlog and that would mean delete something old or buy an external HD. Holding onto games over 100GB for a long time slows us from buying other games. This might be a reason D3 won't be green lit. We are supposed to be buying into the Machine, constantly. Having Discs may actually encourage splurge spending for Digitals. Oh well. But you have played 11 years. so you're ready to move on. Good luck and enjoy. There are many games out there. And there's stuff in Life I hear but that's a different story. lol

3 RepliesGod please use unreal 4 if they do a D3
