Unfair Ban
Was running a Fireteam Finder DSC yesterday with some random group. (I joined them). We got to the end boss and somepole left, they opened up fireteam finder, which a random person joined. Within 2 xseconds of them joining the boss was instantly killed. We didnt have time to leave or kick them. Gone to log in this morning the day after and my account has been banned. No reasoning or anything, spoken to the person through Discord and they've been banned also because of this random guy cheating. As always no reply from bungie/Destiny 2. I've paid hundreds and hundreds of £'s on this game and this is how they treat us. Absolute joke! Can someone help get my account back as its the only thing i have outside of work and a crap home life.

However it sounds like you've already placed an appeal. Bungie will only respond to the appeal if they intend to overturn the ban or require further information. The advice given is that if neither happens within 4 weeks then it can be assumed the ban is being upheld.

Dude, I've been banned since 2024 for no reason. No reason was given, they just ban people for no reason even when there was proof given of no foul doings. After many attempts at getting through to support or through ban appeals, they still won't do anything. They just believe what their dumb ai says and move on.

1 ReplyI don't think I have ever seen Bungie ban someone in less than 24 hours, except when someone triggers the integrated anticheat (then the ban is immediate).
